Steve Schwartzer brings 30 years of experience in implementing, brokering and managing employee benefit plans to brokers and businesses. Schwartzer served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for a national brokerage firm located in Madison, Wisconsin where he was responsible for recruiting & training over 300 brokers, prior to starting his own firm in 2002. His firm, Heartland Benefits Brokerage (HBB) is a Managing General Agency. Steve currently holds the designation of Certified Identity Theft Risk Management Specialist (CITRMS), a certification through the Institute of Fraud Risk Management. Schwartzer previously served on the State Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Association of Health Underwriters (WAHU) and on the Regional Board of Directors for the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU).
